News Release: Charlotte County Opening Info Hubs at Libraries and Recreation Centers After the Storm

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Oct. 8, 2024) – Following Hurricane Milton, Charlotte County will deploy Info Hubs at some county libraries and recreation centers. The info hub will contain printed flyers of updated information on recovery efforts, relief programs, and resources available to assist residents and businesses impacted by the storm.

Locations of the Info Hubs will be based on whether the library or recreation center property is safely accessible after the storm and if it is near an affected area or an area out of power. Locations will be posted at www.CharlotteCountyFL.gov/storm and announced by local media after roads have been cleared and all Charlotte County facilities have been assessed for damage.

The info hubs look like white newspaper stands and are clearly marked Info Hubs.
